Shape + contrast

The flower in this photo has contrast and much detail and using the background gravel/road it embraces the colour and each petal.

Space + movement

The spinning coin shows literal movement through out the photo but also allowing space in the back

Value + contrast

I used a colour pop technique to incorporate both contrast and value with dark pencil crayons and one bright yellow pencil crayon

Colour + movement

The colour spreads across her face to show movement so both the element and principal of design work together.

Line + emphasis

The forks use leading lines from all four sides of the picture to leading to the marble in the middle which represents the emphasis

Value + pattern and repetition

the black and white photo uses value and pattern and repetition of the repeating candle false all the way to the back of the image
